
FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — MacDowell Rugby Academy on Vancouver Island will quickly welcome two Fort St. John athletes.
Hailey Dutchak will be a part of fellow rugby participant Waylon Fenton for his or her first semester on the academy starting in February 2023.
Dutchak has had a busy yr after bringing dwelling gold whereas representing Staff BC on the Western Canadian Championships, bronze from the 2022 BC Summer season Video games, competing within the LA 7’s Worldwide Rugby Match, and now, being accepted to MacDowell Rugby Academy.
“It’s actually thrilling,” mentioned Dutchak.
“I’m tremendous excited to get shifting ahead in my rugby profession and get some high-level teaching each day for the following semester.”
The 17-year-old rugby star could have the chance to coach in a brand new, rugby-focused surroundings beneath the path of Robin MacDowell, director of the rugby academy and Staff Canada Alumni.
