After just a few weeks off between fall and winter seasons, we’re again with our weekly Athlete of the Week offered by Faculty Hype. This week’s winner is Ellie Savitscus. Ellie is the senior captain on the women basketball group and nearly single-handedly overcame a 12 level Harborwomen 4th quarter deficit on Friday night time in opposition to Marshfield. The third 12 months varsity participant stepped up in Hingham’s 45-43 loss with 18 factors, 5 assists and three steals.
Second 12 months head coach Roland Millien is impressed with Ellie’s efficiency through the first week of the season.
“Ellie led a 12 level comeback within the ultimate 5 minutes that simply fell brief,” stated Millien. “Her spirited play and management left the group feeling optimistic about the remainder of the season.
